Unable to log in - clean install 2.1
« on: July 16, 2023, 04:06:51 AM »
I have been trying a clean install of 2.1 after playing with 2.1 beta for a few months. Started with a new microUSB and raspberry Pi image. Despite checking passwords over and over again I am stuck at this point:

Last login: Sun Jul 16 18:12:47 on ttys000
tpearce@Tonys-iMac ~ % ssh pistomp@pistomp.local
The authenticity of host 'pistomp.local (2001:44b8:2a7:a800:74f:84d6:6e56:2f3c)' can't be established.
ED25519 key fingerprint is SHA256:X9hRzyFLIiEXD6QD43JsaGbzHWzn/UfBVQzBKnBWACI.
This host key is known by the following other names/addresses:
    ~/.ssh/known_hosts:2: 10.1.1.201
Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no/[fingerprint])? yes
Warning: Permanently added 'pistomp.local' (ED25519) to the list of known hosts.
pistomp@pistomp.local's password:
Permission denied, please try again.

My router reports that pistomp is connected at 10.1.1.201 but the following has the same result

tpearce@Tonys-iMac ~ % ssh pistomp@10.1.1.201
pistomp@10.1.1.201's password:
Permission denied, please try again.

Am I doing something wrong?

cheers

The beta branch is not ready for general use.  That’s where we’re working on a completely new LCD UI and some new features.

If you haven’t seen it yet, 2.1 (the main master branch) includes Patchstorage allowing you to manage the plugins you have installed and pull down new ones from the cloud.  Get to that by clicking on the blue “P” in the lower left of the MOD UI.

If you want to get in on the new AI trained amp models, we have two available plugins, Aida DSP and Neural Amp Modeler.  They are damn impressive.  Some Aida models here:
List of shared models:
https://forum.mod.audio/t/list-of-shared-models/9631/38

Some NAM models here:
https://tonehunt.org/MODFather

You can upload those via the “File Manager” in the lower left of the MOD UI.

I’m gonna be creating a tutorial for this stuff soon.
