Could you try changing the channel in you hostapd file and see if this resolves you issue?

It’s definitely on the radar! Just waiting for all the kernel updates to get committed to the GitHub repo so we can do test builds!

Are you using any customised settings for the pi, like overclocking? Those DMA errors are no good

Try removing the color: option and the ps-restart

Can you paste what your default_config.yml contents for us to check?

Using pi-Stomp / Re: MIDI works on one channel only

That file only affects hotspot. You’re welcome to play with it. I’ve been trying to replicate your issue, but so far I can’t. I’m also gonna see what else can be changed in there

When last did you do a fresh install? We fixed the midi aggregated mode quite recently and that should hopefully resolve your issue. Do you have a spare sd card to do a fresh install?

Is midi in aggregated or separated mode in mod-ui?

Also midi 70 and 71 are the tweak knobs. Turn them all the way off while assigning midi to avoid this. If you’re not using tweak knobs, then make sure that they’re not assigned in the default_config.yml file, aka comment them out.

They register due to a bit of chatter from fluctuations from using pots.

Building pi-Stomp / Re: NAM- revisited
« on: July 07, 2023, 12:16:37 PM »
I have tested it and I pushed NAM to patchstorage. If you’re using the latest update for pi-stomp, then you can download it via patchstorage and use the nano models. They use about 50-65% cpu

Some of the neuralpi models have been converted by falktx on mod forum, but they’re very heavy on cpu usage.

This might have to do with parallel load. When you run effects in parallel on mod-ui, it splits the load over multiple cores. I did read somewhere that mod devices are also struggling with this…

It does kinda work, but we’ve been struggling to get the cpu usage to a usable level. Good news though is that Aida-x is available and it’s absolutely killer. There’s not as many models yet, but what there is is incredible! It also only uses about 35-40% cpu!

I would suggest checking out the latest install of pi-stomp as we’ve updated to mod-1.13 and have included patchstorage for downloading plugins! Aida-x is on there already!

Hey Randy,
I’m almost done with a custom iso for pi-stomp.
It will be an updated patchbox with mod1.10 and everything already installed.

Do you want me to send the iso to you first for testing?
It shouldn’t require much (if any) maintenance and will still have the patchbox cli tools.

I have managed to get mod1.10 really stable now and I’m already working on mod1.11!!

Building pi-Stomp / Input buffer
« on: November 27, 2020, 07:55:50 AM »
Hey, I have a question about the buffer that you used for the inputs. I’ve built a knob style buffer for the input, but it’s not playing nice with 5v supply. What did you use for your input buffer?
